Rise & Shine Bible Study -- Sundays at 7:30 AM
Longer Look Bible Study -- Mondays at 10:00 AM
Lutheran Island Camp is a year-round outdoors ministry and retreat center of the Minnesota North District LCMS.
This service organization provides for the proper care of the altar area and its furnishings. Members change the altar paraments, prepare the vessels for Holy Communion, make banners, clean acolyte robes and perform other duties that enrich the worship life of the congregation.
ST. JOHN’S LWML
This local group is affiliated with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (L.W.M.L.), an auxiliary organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. St John’s LWML welcomes all women of the congregation to participate in local, zone, district and international activities. It meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. for Bible study and business meeting. Zone Rallies are held in the area in the spring and fall. The District (or national) convention is in June.
The LWML selects a variety of mission projects each year.
The Board of Fellowship plans and coordinates a variety of fun events that bring people together. For example: progressive dinners, recreation, game nights, Valentine dinner, decorating the church for Christmas . . .
ADULT DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
This class is for those interested in learning about what the Lutheran Church teaches, in joining St. John’s, or as a refresher course for members in basic Christian teaching. It is normally offered twice a year in Fall & Winter/Spring. Other times can be arranged.
